School Rules
1. Student must submit a copy of personal record. It must have his/ her photograph as identification, complete information and signed by the parents.
2. Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days.
3. House uniform to be to be worn on every Wednesday and Saturday.
4. Boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
5. Girls should plait their hair if it is below their shoulders. Short hair should be nearly combed and pinned.
6. Students are expected to respect the properly of others. This includes respect for school properly. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw any thing on the walls, furniture or in any way damage things that belong to others. Damage done, even by accident, will be made good by the one who causes it.
7. Those students who go back home alone should be prompt in returning straight home.
8. Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
9. The school reserves the right to suspend or take strict disciplinary action against students whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
10. Once the child enters the school he/ she is not allowed to go home in between.
11. No students should indulge in any of the following practices: a. Spitting in or near the school building. b. Damaging any school property. c. Rowdy and rude behavior. d. Use of violence. e. Casteism, communalism or practice of untouchability
12. The observance of rules, of discipline of the school and good behavior is an essential condition to a students’ continuance in the school. In case a student violates the school rules or indulges in any form of indiscipline, strict action shall be taken against the student.
13. Parents are advised to attend meeting/ workshop organized by the school to ensure development of their ward.
14. Educators may be contacted through the Principal/ Front Office and not directly.
15. Tobacco products, alcohol, matches, lighters, fireworks etc. will not be allowed in the School premises. Stern action will be taken against the offender.
16. Leaving a classroom, school building or school premises without approval or permission from authorities will be considered as misconduct.
17. Demonstrating dishonesty in any form or using abusive language will be considered an offence.
18. Damage to school property will attract a fine.
19. In case of any kind of misconduct, two written warnings will be issued, post which, a student will be suspended.
20. No electronic gadgets (mobile, i-pods etc.) expensive, jewellery/ sharp articles are to be Carried/brought in the school. They will be confiscated immediately and stern action will be taken against the student.
21. Under age driving is an offence. Parents are strongly advised to monitor their child/ward in this record.
22. Students going out from school on special permission will not be allowed to move out of the campus without a proper out-pass.
The management is at the liberty to add, delete or amend any of the rules mentioned above.
Suggestions from parents with regard to the overall well being of children are welcomed by the school.
Attendance And Absentee
1. It is compulsory for all students to achieve 75% attendance before every exam, to make them eligible to sit for the examination. In case attendance is short, the student will not be eligible for promotion/ any academic award.
2. Students who have been sick should bring a medical certificate and submit it to the class teacher.
3. Leave for going out of station should be approved of prior to proceeding on leave.
4. In case of an emergency, parents will be informed and they will have to report to the office. They are not permitted to go to the classes directly.
5. Irregular attendance and habitual absence will call for strict action.
6. Being absent from school without the parent’s knowledge will be considered as misconduct.
Library Rules For Students
1. Books from the library will be issued to students from Std. III onwards.
2. One book will be issued to student for one week only, post which the book has to be returned to the library.
3. A book can be reissued only for the next seven days.
4. An overdue fine of Rs. 2/- per day will be charged in case the book is not returned as per schedule.
5. The cost of the book & a fine Rs. 100/- will be charged in case a book is lost.
6. No writing & markings are allowed on the books.
7. In case of any damage to a book, appropriate fine will be charged.
8. Bags are not allowed in the library.
9. Reference books will not be allowed to be taken out of the library.
10. Children can exchange or return an issued book only in the library period or during the short break.
11. Children need to maintain silence in the library.
12. For project work, or for various competitions, students are allowed to use the library facility, but only with prior intimation and permission. They must be accompanied by the teacher in – charge.
